Enrollment

Call (204) 948-0910 or email Study@GisellesSchool.ca to make an appointment to meet with the school's Director, discuss your career goals, and tour the school. The enrollment process includes an Applicant Questionaire, and a Application Form. Payment plans are available.

Entrance Dates

Entry Requirements:

  1. Applicant must be at least 17 years of age. Proof of date of birth must be submitted (Driver's License or Photo ID)
  2. Grade 12 education is mandatory and we will require a copy of your transcripts, unless applying as a Mature Student
  3. For students whose first language is not English the Manitoba Apprenticeship Branch recommends a Canadian language benchmark of 6 or higher to successfully become a certified Aesthetician-Nail technician or electrologist. Proof of benchmark level may be required on enrollment.
  4. A registration fee of $100.00 is required upon enrolling

Dress Code:

  1. Students must maintain a professional appearance at all times
  2. Standard (full top & bottom)black scrub uniform chosen by Giselle's School of Aesthetics Ltd.
  3. Style 308/307 or 310/307
  4. Black socks
  5. All black, flat soft soled closed-toed shoe, scuff-free and clean at all times
  6. No jewelry is to be worn on the hands or wrists and earrings must be of a conservative size and style
  7. Hair and make-up are to be worn and/or styled in a conservative fashion appropriate for daytime

Graduation

After successful completion of your course of study, you will receive a Giselle's School of Aesthetics diploma.

Apprenticeship

Nail Technicians are required to serve a one-year apprenticeship upon completion of studies.

Aestheticians are required to serve a two-year apprenticeship upon completion of studies.

Examinations as required under The Apprenticeship and Trades Qualification Act and Regulations are a part of the apprenticeship program.
